Help BUILD the 1st Show Style Marching Arts Camp in the Philippines!

Power, Precision, & Presence: International Marching Arts Camp is a week-long intensive marching band workshop to be held between June and July 2026. The project is an ongoing collaboration between the ESNCHS Marching Band, Ms. Sydney Fulmore-Clark, and Mr. Christian Houghton.

The project was first proposed through email in July 2025 from Ms. Sydney Fulmore-Clark as a dance session opportunity.  In November 2025, Mr. Christian Houghton joined the project, evolving it into a full-on marching arts camp. Our collaborators will be traveling to Borongan City, Philippines, to discuss and teach marching band history, music arrangement and foundations, as well as dance fundamentals and techniques. The workshop’s program will cover one week of in-depth training for drum majors, auxiliary groups (majorettes and color guards), brass players, and percussionists.

The project will be the first international collaboration between the ESNCHS Marching Band and the HBCU Marching Band community in the United States. The marching band hopes that with support from its collaborators, stakeholders, and donors, the marching arts camp will help showcase the show band style of performing in the region and establish a strong connection between two communities sharing the same love and passion for music and the arts.
